I put this together myself with a
basic tool set and a hammer.. I can’t say it was quick or easy, but the
instructions were extremely comprehensive and really the only thing you need
with this (if you choose to do it on your own) is time. Towards the end it got
difficult for me to keep laying it down on the floor to tack on the back panel
and then flip to add the doors + hinges just due to its weight, if you can get
another person to help I would suggest so but it is COMPLETELY doable to do on
your own - even for a girl!
I live in NYC where living room space is very limited so this ended up being the perfect size for my wall.
All in all I really love this piece, it ties in so nicely with my floors couch and walls and I’d highly recommend purchasing it if your looking for something that’s of great quality. And also not from ikea!
For the record - my flatscreen is 49” and it’s only recommended for 47”, I read some of the questions above and another person is using there’s for a 50” screen so I took a chance - it totally works if your screen happens to be within a few inches of the max length.
